Following up on the article from our last issue, at the January 5th LNA meeting the Board approved the purchase and installation of replacement trees up to a limit of $2000. The funds will be used from our Legacy Projects Fund. We are currently researching what type of trees to plant as our current species of trees have begun to cause issues with traffic due to their tops spreading out into the traffic lanes. It is our hope to have them purchased and installed before spring allowing them to take root before the summer heat arrives.
