The next membership meeting for the Linnton Neighborhood Association is Wednesday, February 5 at 7 PM at LCC, 10614 NW St. Helens Rd.
This is a reminder that we are voting on updating the organizational bylaws to change meeting dates to avoid scheduling conflicts with multiple holidays. Membership meetings will take place on the first Wednesdays of the months of February, April, June, August, October and December. See story on bylaws amendments.
LNA’s annual membership meeting and Board of Directors election will take place at the April 2 meeting. We’ll begin taking nominations for open positions at the February 5th meeting.
We are recruiting a candidate for the role of Vice-Chair, which includes filling in for the Chairperson when they are absent and representing the association at District Coalition meetings. A Secretary is also needed to document decisions made at neighborhood meetings. All Board Officer positions are re-elected each year.
Three of the At-Large Board members’ three-year terms end this spring and would need to be re-elected to a new term. Those individuals include Darise Weller, Justine Aylmer, and Jon Worley.
