The three District 4 Portland City Council seats have drawn several dozen candidates. The Linnton Neighborhood Association has invited all the candidates to appear before voters at an event on Wednesday, September 4.
The event is from 7 pm to 9 pm in athe gym at the Linnton Community Center, 10614 NW Saint Helens Rd.
YOU ARE INVITED.
The LNA is also inviting every westside District 4 neighborhood association to send representatives. The candidates need to hear from people active in neighborhood associations, people who are already at work on our city’s problems and who have experience
with the challenges of bringing
people together.
All the candidates will get a chance to make a brief speech to the entire audience and then will rotate through smaller groups to answer questions.
We intend to prepare some questions to serve as discussion starters and invite suggestions about those questions.
