Interested in having a say in guiding efforts to improve livability in the Linnton neighborhood? Nominations are now being accepted for board officer positions. The Linnton Neighborhood Association’s annual membership meeting and board elections will take place on Wednesday, May 1.
All board officer positions must be elected each year. Those positions include chairperson, who is responsible for setting the agenda and leading meetings, and vice-chair, who represents the association
at district coalition meetings – Neighbors West Northwest. The treasurer tracks the organization’s finances in coordination with coalition staff and the secretary writes and files meeting minutes for coalition records.
There are no open at-large positions as all current members were elected in the past two years for three-year terms. But that could change if any decide not to re-up for next year.
