Linnton’s Oregon State Senator, Elizabeth Steiner, will come to our November 1st meeting. She will report on the recent legislative session and how state government is coping with the dangers presented to Linnton and the rest of the state by the CEI Hub. She will also talk about how her legislative budget experience has prompted her to run for State Treasurer in the next election. If she wins, we’ll need a new senator, and how that might work out is another issue she will address.
The membership meeting is on the first, at the Linnton Community Center located at 10614 NW St. Helens Rd. The meeting starts at 7. Senator Steiner will speak at 7:15.
