The Linnton Community Center has served the surrounding communities for decades providing a community space, day care, food bank and much more. This collective community care was disrupted when the nearby former Linnton Mill Office was not sold to the community and a long-term resident was evicted. This has led to garbage, drugs, fires and abandoned vehicles – a problem Linnton did not have before.
We need suggestions and expertise in having the vehicles moved and a motion to pay for garbage pickup when it happens. The new owner of the Mill Office recently destroyed a beaver dam and cut down many old trees in order to put the property back on the market for sale.
