This summer we’d like to have summer picnics and host a historic open house event. We’re looking for volunteers who want to host a picnic in July or August for their nearby community, whether on the hills or riverfront. These summer picnics help build connections and can also include a discussion about NET emergency preparedness and other safety issues.
We’re also seeking people who want to open their doors and share a bit of history with their neighbors. We are considering a Sunday afternoon in August or September for a historic homes open house.
