A strong Linnton ally, Julia Bonnheim of RE:SOLVE NW, is inviting us to a FREE community event on September 29th, from 4 – 7:30 pm at the Friendly House Community Center.
“Unshakeable” is especially for North and North West Portlanders who experience Critical Energy Infrastructure (CEI) Hub dangers in their everyday lives. Local organizations and government entities working on the issues of CEI Hub safety will be there – Oregon DEQ, Oregon Dept. of Energy, Multnomah County Office of Emergency Management, PSU’s Center for Sustainable Solutions, and more.
Speakers include Jay Wilson, Luke Hanst, and Alice Busch followed by time to explore community resources. Please plan to arrive at the start of the event. Carpool if possible, as parking is limited. Questions that will be addressed include “What do we know? What have we done so far? What can we do next?”
