On August 24, a beautiful Saturday afternoon, neighbors gathered in Kingsley Park for a Linnton community picnic.
Not counting kids, dogs, or firefighters, roughly 50 people told stories, ate burgers and four different kinds of pasta salad, tried badminton, examined the station 22 fire engine and the NET team display, and watched the kids and dogs run around. It was great.
Thanks to the Picnic Committee. I’m already looking forward to next year’s event.
