Our LNA advocacy group, Linnton Speaks Out, is contacting the Bureau of Development Services and McCall Oil this month opposing McCall’s proposed expansion. More than 40 advocates and allies are making Linnton’s voices heard on important issues. Members take a few minutes monthly to send an email, a letter, or make a phone call, as the need arises, and share a brief message with individuals or organizations that have the authority to act. Bulleted scripts are provided but each person has complete autonomy to use their own voice. Our outreaches have included asking the City to withdraw its Land Use Compatibility Statement to Zenith Energy, requesting DEQ to conduct air pollution emissions testing, and urging Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) to oppose the GTN Express pipeline expansion that would bring more fracked oil to the CEI Hub.
We are showing that Linnton residents and friends care and are engaged.
