A community forum will be held to discuss community concerns about the Critical Energy Infrastructure (CEI) Hub with the Multnomah County Commission and several members of Oregon’s U.S. Congressional delegation on Saturday, May 20, TIME??? at the Linnton Community Center at 10614 NW St. Helens Road.
The delegation of elected officials will first take a tour of the industrial area along the Willamette River before proceeding to a forum at LCC to discuss CEI issues with community members. The purpose is to raise awareness and hear community concerns about environmental and seismic issues unique to Oregon’s primary energy hub being located on a liquefaction zone along the Willamette River.
This is an event the Multnomah County Commission initiated and has contacted the Linnton Neighborhood Association about. More details will be emailed when available.
