We had another successful litter clean-up on November 13 with ten or more volunteers clearing debris along St. Helens Rd from the business district to NW Riverview Drive. Thanks to Shawn Looney who is stepping aside after volunteering to organize our community clean-ups for ten years. Her husband, Dave, has been there by her side each project helping ferry volunteers along the highway and picking up the full trash bags.

Thankfully, Ivan McLean has volunteered to take over coordinating our Adopt-A-Highway efforts and twice-a-year clean-ups. Stay tuned for future info about our spring date.
