The Neighborhood Emergency Team (NET) needs SUVs. No, not sport utility vehicles but what emergency management folks ingloriously call Spontaneous Unaffiliated Volunteers. These are people like you who want to help their neighbors in an emergency. Maybe you have a chainsaw and can cut trees that have fallen across roads. Maybe you remember enough of your first aid training from Scouts. Maybe you just want to lend a hand when people need it. Whether skilled or unskilled, Linnton NET would like you to attend just one of our monthly meetings to hear what we are about and how you can help us be better prepared.
